A Stone Lantern

A study of a stone lantern that I have been working on for the past couple of days on and off. It's based off of a photo I took in Portland Japanese Garden. After starring at Craig Mullins website for hours I got inspired to paint something very painterly, and textural. I had fun trying to get the materials to feel correct, and capture the exposure from the image I took. I hope you all digs! -J
